| The Porcupine's antenna, antenna arrangement, and software, were all designed, implemented, and tested in the Advanced Network Management Lab. The lab is equipped with a spectrum analyzer, calibrated signal source, and various other equipment required by such projects. Absent an anechoic RF chamber, the lab arranged to use IU's large array of indoor basketball courts for final antenna analysis and design. The drawing below is an example of one of the intermediate antenna designs for the Porcupine. | ||||||||||||||||||
